Who We Are

Founded in 2020 by Robbie Fleming, the Lakes Valeting & Detailing has been built on years of research, development and testing of products, tools and methods.

From the age of seventeen, I have been a passionate car enthusiast. Since passing my driving test in 2008, car cleaning and maintenance have become more than just a hobby—they’ve become a true passion. Over the years, valeting and detailing have become a therapeutic process for me, thanks to the dramatic visual transformations involved. There’s something incredibly satisfying about taking a dirty vehicle and, through hard work and experience, making it look brand new—if not better.

After years of valeting and detailing cars for friends and family, I felt it was time to take on new and more challenging aspects of car cleaning. In 2020, I decided to open my services to the public.

When I’m not busy with work, I’m constantly researching new products, tools, processes, and all things related to detailing. I believe in always learning and evolving to provide the best service possible.

Living so close to the Lake District, I’m proud to be based in such a scenic part of England. The beauty of the area has inspired both the name of my company and the packages I offer to customers.

I believe my attention to detail—and at times, my obsession with perfection—is a strength that enables me to clean and care for your vehicle to the highest possible standard.

My knowledge of products, tools, and vehicle components allows me to treat your vehicle with the utmost care and professionalism.
